Many Kingston residents have been hit hard by Coronavirus.
The Kingston NY Mutual Aid Facebook page launched in March 2020 as a rapid response to the economic and public health crisis of COVID-19 and a virtual space for Kingston residents to come together even as they practiced social distancing.
We have established best practices for how we can help each other responsibly in the time of this viral epidemic. The immunocompromised, disabled, and seniors who may need help getting groceries and other necessities. Your landlord is threatening eviction. You need to get tested for COVID 19, etc. If you have the ability and time to meet any need you see on this page. Please respond in the comments to the original post. If you'd like to offer a specific kind of support you haven't seen requested yet, make a post about it. Folks interested can reply in the comments.

Though this mutual aid network has formed out of the COVID-19 crisis, we want to honor the long history of mutual aid organizing. We want to thank mutual aid folks out of Medford and Somerville as we have borrowed some of their model and language.
